MercyOne is seeking a BC/BE Orthopedic Surgeon for a full-time inpatient role in Mason City, Iowa. This position offers the opportunity to provide advanced orthopedic surgical care within collaborative, patient-focused hospital setting, focusing on acutely injured patients. Opportunity Highlights:

• Provide Ortho/trauma care for acute emergencies and hospitalized patients

• Emergency surgical intervention for complex injuries, acute musculoskeletal trauma, fractures complex and open, joint dislocation, ligament injuries, postoperative care, multidisciplinary collaboration and participating in trauma rounds and care planning.

• DaVinci Xi robot platform

• 7on/7off; 14 days/month, 12 hrs onsite/12 hrs on call

• Onsite medical imaging and pharmacy

• EMR EPIC

MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center , Mason City, is a 346-bed full-service community health system with Level III trauma center. With 300+physicians and providers, it serves more than 400,000 inpatients and outpatients each year. Serves as a teaching institution with residencies in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Cardiology fellowship to name a few.
