Accounts Payable Clerk (S)

Bishop & Company is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk for an association management company in Honolulu. Key Responsibilities Process payments for association expenses, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Review, sort, prepare, and validate invoices and check requests. Prepare and mail daily check runs. Maintain recurring vouchers and process scheduled payments. Manage accounts payable files and ensure proper documentation. Provide support to vendors, management executives, auditors, and accounting staff as needed. Assist with preparation and filing of 1099 MISC returns. Process monthly chargebacks. Oversee the daily AP cycle for 55+ properties, ensuring efficiency and compliance with deadlines. Qualifications & Requirements Two-year college degree in Accounting, Business, or related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered. Previous accounts payable or accounting experience strongly preferred. Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software. Dependable, punctual, and a proven team player.
