Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - $1,804 per week

Position Overview American Traveler seeks a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with NICU experience for a night shift travel assignment in a hospital respiratory therapy department in Fredericksburg, VA. Assignment Details Location: 140‑bed hospital, Fredericksburg, VA Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12‑hour shifts, 3 shifts per week) Schedule: 36 hours/week, every other weekend included, 13‑week contract Equipment: Hamilton C1, V60, Hamilton MR1, CPAP, High Power Nasal Cannula, Bubble CPAP Charting: Meditech EMR Start date: July 6 2026 Responsibilities Provide respiratory therapy services to NICU and adult patients, including ventilator management and high‑flow respiratory support Deliver high‑quality care on night shift, ensuring continuity and stability for patients and staff Qualifications Active RRT credential (license required if applicable) Minimum 2 years of general RT experience with NICU experience required Active experience in the specialty within the last 6 months BLS and ACLS (AHA or ARC accepted) with certification not expiring within first 30 days of assignment start NRP (American Academy of Pediatrics, Advanced 9th Edition) required; NRP Preferred but can be obtained after hire US SSN and date of birth required for consideration (no Canadian SSN accepted) Professional reference required (2 references if licensed in Florida or Missouri) No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Candidate must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; no local candidates accepted Additional Information All black scrubs required ACLS required per facility policy for Respiratory Therapists Compensation & Other Details American Traveler Job ID #P-715077.
