Travel Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Acute Care

Schedule: Days, 9 hours per shift, five days per week, 36-40 hours per week.

Assignment Details: Contract Length: 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Requirements

• Master's degree in Speech and Language Pathology
• Current Michigan SLP License
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification
• 2+ years of pediatric Speech-Language Pathology experience
• Experience with Videofluoroscopic Swallow Studies (VFSS)
• Must be willing to work in both inpatient and outpatient units

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform patient evaluations and administer treatment for speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Design and revise patient care plans and goals.
• Provide written and verbal reports to physicians.
• Complete documentation according to regulatory requirements.
• Participate in education programs and stay updated on current trends in speech and swallowing disorders.
• Engage in patient care committees and community education projects as needed.

Compliance / Notes:

• Client will not consider candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility.
• Requests for time off during the assignment must be noted at the time of submission; no more than five days will be accepted.
• Dress code: Business casual or matching scrubs.
• Must have own vehicle for this assignment.
• Rotating on-call schedule, typically one weekend per month.
