Salary: $90,000 - $100,000 Base + Performance Bonus

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead the culinary operations of a high-volume premier fine dining restaurant in the Raleigh market.

The ideal Executive Chef is a servant leader who takes pride in building great teams, developing people, and delivering memorable dining experiences. You are highly organized, detail-oriented, passionate about culinary excellence, and capable of leading a fast-paced, high-volume operation while maintaining the highest standards of quality and service.

Executive Chef Responsibilities

Lead and oversee all culinary operations, ensuring exceptional food quality, consistency, and presentation.
Manage and develop all BOH employees, including Sous Chefs, Kitchen Managers, and hourly team members.
Drive a culture of accountability, professionalism, teamwork, and culinary excellence.
Ensure execution of recipes, specifications, and plating standards at all times.
Monitor labor, food cost, inventory, purchasing, and restaurant profitability.
Analyze financial reports and implement strategies to achieve operational goals.
Maintain strict adherence to food safety, sanitation, and health department standards.
Collaborate with management teams to deliver an outstanding guest experience.
Conduct regular line checks, inventory counts, and quality assurance inspections.
Create schedules and staffing plans that support both guest satisfaction and financial objectives.
Foster a positive, respectful, and high-performance workplace culture.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience as an Executive Chef in a high-volume Fine Dining or Upscale Casual Restaurant environment.
Strong understanding of inventory controls, purchasing, labor management, and P&L performance.
Experience managing annual sales volumes of $5M+ preferred.
Demonstrated success in hiring, developing, and retaining culinary talent.
Passion for hospitality, culinary innovation, and guest satisfaction.
Ability to lead with professionalism, integrity, and accountability.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Stable career progression with a track record of operational excellence.
