Overview Location: UCHealth UCHlth Anschutz Inpt Pavilion, Aurora, CO, USA Department: Electrocardiography Work Schedule: Full Time, 0.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks) Shift: Days Pay: $21.49 - $27.94 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience Role: Onsite; no hybrid or remote option Summary: Performs direct patient care; electrocardiograms (ECG’s); stress testing; cardiac monitors; and/or analyses cardiac monitor data and completes monitor reports. Responsibilities Perform in all departmental specialties and patient populations; able to assist new hires and/or student interns. Perform responsibilities of underlying job(s) and take responsibility for, or provide guidance to team members on handling complex or novel issues including productivity and quality management. Facilitate effective communication with providers regarding complex patients' needs while analyzing and reporting cardiac monitors as indicated at position level. Oversee equipment quality control testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Apply critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision; work in a fast‑paced environment and take appropriate action. Qualifications Certifications: Certified Cardiographic Technician (CCT) by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) or equivalent certifications such as Certified EKG Technician (CET), Certified ECG Technician (CEKG), ECG Technician Certification (ETC) by accredited bodies; Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider. Relevant life‑support certification as determined at position level. 2 years of relevant experience. BLS through American Heart Association or American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer; BLS or CPR card must be valid through 60 days of hire.
