Job Title: Graphic Designer Department: Marketing Reports To: Creative Manager Location: Tempe, AZ (On-site) FLSA Status: Exempt Employment Type: Full‑Time* *Applicants must provide a portfolio link* Position Summary Branded Bills is hiring a Graphic Designer II to take on mid to higher-level design projects across the brand. This role is for a designer who can take a project from concept to final files across a wide range of formats and channels, bringing strong execution and a sharp eye for brand consistency. You will partner closely with the Design, Marketing, Photography, and Product teams to produce polished, on‑brand creative for digital, print, and social use. This is not an entry‑level creative role; it's built for someone who can take a project from a rough idea to a finished, on‑time deliverable. Above all, we're looking for someone whose passion is graphic design itself, someone who stays engaged with the craft, brings ideas beyond what's asked, and takes real ownership in pushing projects further than the brief requires. Key Responsibilities Design Execution – Utilize Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator to create exceptional, production‑ready designs across social media, website, and printed signage. Creative Concepting – Think creatively and develop new design concepts, layouts, and graphics grounded in strong aesthetic design principles. Project Ownership – Execute design concepts and deliverables according to established timelines, coordinating with design, marketing, and product teams along the way. Brand Stewardship – Ensure brand standards and visual consistency are upheld across all materials and touchpoints. Trend Awareness – Stay current on industry and design trends, and proactively contribute fresh ideas that improve the overall customer experience. Special Projects – Take on special projects as assigned by management. Brand Representation – Serve as a positive representative of Branded Bills, both internally and externally. Required Qualifications Proven experience as a graphic designer, with a portfolio demonstrating mid to higher-level design work. Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator. Strong understanding of aesthetic design principles, layout, and typography. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines while collaborating across teams. Experience designing across formats: social media, web, email, and printed signage. Photo manipulation and retouching experience. Strong attention to detail and brand consistency. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Comfortable iterating through multiple rounds of revisions based on stakeholder feedback. Preferred Qualifications Experience designing for an apparel, headwear, lifestyle, or consumer product brand. Familiarity with print production processes and working with outside print vendors. Experience contributing to marketing or e‑commerce creative (product photography direction, ad creative, etc.). Experience with motion graphics. Experience with AI design tools.
