Position Overview

• Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures by articulately explaining each process
• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure accurate and high-quality diagnostic images
• Manage the operation and maintenance of imaging equipment, promptly addressing any issues
• Document all procedures accurately and maintain up-to-date patient records in the electronic medical system
• Remain informed about advancements in ultrasound imaging technologies and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a similar field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current ARDMS certification or equivalent is required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
