You'll bring solid accounting fundamentals and industry experience, and thrive in a fast moving environment where priorities shift.Your Impact to the Role:Support month end and year end close, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysisMaintain accurate financial records in accordance with GAAPAssist with internal controls, compliance, and audit preparationPartner cross functionally to gather data and resolve discrepanciesHelp identify and implement process improvementsSupport external audits, tax filings, and other regulatory requirements as neededYou Are Energized By:Getting the details right and holding yourself to a high standardLearning fast in an environment where no two days look the sameUsing AI tools as part of your everyday workflowWhat We’re Looking For:3-5 years of progressive accounting experienceSolid understanding of GAAP and core accounting principlesExperience in technology, e-commerce, or a high growth startup environment preferredHighly organized and able to manage multiple prioritiesStrong written and verbal communication skillsBased in NYC or the Bay AreaBonus Points:CPA certification or currently pursuingExperience with modern accounting software and toolsFamiliarity with the creator economy or digital marketing landscapeIn compliance with New York Pay Transparency Law, the salary range for this position is as shown. We note that salary information as a general guideline only, actual compensation may vary from posting based on the offer for this role, including the scope and responsibilities of the position, relevant work experience, key skills, education, training and business considerations.New York Pay Range$100,000—$115,000 USDThe provided salary range is base salary, exclusive of bonus potential or commission and is a good faith estimate of cash compensation.
