divh2Employee Relations/Labor Relations Advisor/h2pThe Employee Relations/Labor Relations Advisor will counsel employees regarding work-related problems or issues and act as liaison between employees and departments to resolve issues and facilitate resolutions./ph2How You Will Create the Extraordinary/h2ulliParticipates in grievances/arbitrations/liliResponsible for coaching/counselling team members and management on all labor relations issues./liliActs as a liaison between team members and supervisors to facilitate communication/liliResponsible for conducting team member investigations for the purpose of adjudicating grievances./liliKeeps abreast of developments in labor relations, recent arbitration decisions and conducts research on topics of interest in meeting company objectives./liliEnsures all policies/procedures are within contract compliance/liliAssists in gathering information for inquiries by various federal/state agencies/liliResponsible for property walk-throughs and corresponding reporting/liliConsistently demonstrates excellent communication skills, establishes and maintains relationships with team members at all levels for the purpose of providing them with accurate feedback./liliLead an organization with methods and actions that are ethical and in full compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Company policies./liliIdentify compliance risks and take actions necessary to eliminate or minimize risks./liliChampion, within the organization, a commitment to honesty, integrity, and responsible corporate behavior./liliCreate a compliance culture within the organization and foster an environment where employees feel comfortable reporting potential violations or misconduct./li/ulh2What You Will Need/h2ulliCollege Degree in Industrial Relations, Labor Relations, HR or Business Administration preferred./liliSupervisor and previous HR experience preferred/liliKnowledge of all employment related laws/liliBasic knowledge of Labor Law with a general knowledge of Human Resources Management./liliKnowledge of National Labor Relations Act and Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action./liliStrong organizational, analytical, communications (verbal and written), and the ability to handle complex and emotional issues./liliSome operations experience preferred./liliSuccessful candidate should have experience working in a Union environment, including collective bargaining and grievance handling./liliAbility to cultivate strong relationships and ability to influence./liliStrong computer literacy skills required/liliProblem solving, decision making and project management skills required/liliAbility to handle complex and emotional issues while maintaining confidentiality required/liliDemonstrates an upbeat and positive attitude/liliAbility to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business/liliIs able to work in smoke filled environment and able to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time./liliMust be 21 years of age or older./li/ulh2About Us/h2pAt Caesars Entertainment, Inc., our Team Members create the extraordinary.
