Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Brookhaven, Georgia. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/14/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position located in the Atlanta metropolitan area. This role involves providing specialized care to neonatal patients in a Level IV/surgical NICU setting. The candidate will work primarily on weekend blocks, with additional weekday shifts, in a facility that emphasizes family-centered, high-quality neonatal care. Job Details: Schedule: Dayshift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week. Required Qualifications: Valid RN license; at least 1 year of experience in a Level IV or surgical NICU; PALS certification; NRP preferred; ability to float to other units as needed; must be tested along with drug screening; must have received flu vaccine (religious or medical exemptions not accepted). Additional Information: Open to candidates with experience managing common neonatal diagnoses such as CDH, MAS, NEC, TEF/EA, abdominal wall defects, BPD, pulmonary hypertension, and pre/peri/post-operative care. Candidates must be prepared to work at least one holiday if it falls during the contract. The facility is nicotine-free to promote a healthy environment.
