Job Description & Requirements Specialty: NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/14/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Opportunity – Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) RN – Georgia Start Date: September 14, 2026 Location: Atlanta, Georgia Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend required Highlights: Level IV/Surgical NICU experience treating complex neonatal cases including congenital diaphragmatic hernia, necrotizing enterocolitis, tracheoesophageal fistula, abdominal wall defects, and more Opportunity to work with pre-operative, peri-operative, and post-operative neonatal patients Collaborative environment with flexibility to float across departments and multiple campus locations Work with a variety of diagnoses including meconium aspiration syndrome, bronchopulmonary dysplasia, and pulmonary hypertension Nicotine-free facility promoting health and wellness Flu vaccination required as part of infection prevention protocols Requirements: Active Georgia RN license or compact state licensure Minimum 2 years of NICU nursing experience required Level IV/Surgical NICU experience strongly preferred Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification preferred Willingness to float to other departments and cross-campus as needed Compliance with nicotine testing and flu vaccination requirements Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers experienced NICU nurses the chance to provide critical care to the most vulnerable patients in a high-acuity surgical setting.
