Asset and Corporate Finance Associate

Job Overview: A law firm seeks a midlevel Corporate Finance Associate to join its office in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate will have two to six years of experience in private equity, private credit, commercial lending, and mezzanine finance transactions. This role involves representing both lenders and borrowers in secured and unsecured syndicated credit facilities, asset-based loans, and acquisition financings. Duties Represent lenders and borrowers in credit facilities and asset-based loans. Engage in acquisition financings and mezzanine finance transactions. Collaborate with experienced lawyers for mentoring and client contact. Participate in loan workouts and restructurings. Requirements Two to six years of relevant law firm experience. Experience with secured and unsecured syndicated credit facilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong academic credentials and excellent communication skills. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree required. Certifications Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction. Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent client service commitment.
