SUMMARY:

The Project Coordinator I supports the coordination of lightning protection and grounding projects by assisting Division Managers, communicating with contractors, maintaining project documentation, and providing administrative support throughout the construction process. This entry-level position is ideal for a motivated individual who is organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn project coordination within the construction industry.

Responsibilities:

• Performs all duties and responsibilities according to the Mission and Core Values of the Company.
• Provides administrative and project support for Division Managers, Journeymen, and installation crews for assigned divisions.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Maintains project files and updates information in company databases and software systems.
• Completes certification applications and other project-related paperwork as needed.
• Supports the review and routing of project submittals and related documentation.
• Assists with coordinating insurance, safety, and compliance requirements for assigned projects.
• Reviews correspondence for completeness, accuracy, spelling, and grammar before distribution.
• Helps track contractor invoicing requirements and communicates necessary information to the Accounting Department.
• Assists with setting up new projects and communicating project information to appropriate departments and team members.
• Learns and maintains a working knowledge of company products, services, and industry standards.
• Documents and maintains records of project-related communication.
• Communicates professionally with contractors and customers through phone and email correspondence.

Requirements:

• Pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Fluent in English with ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Desire to grow with a company - career oriented.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word and Excel. 
• Ability to learn new software systems and industry-specific programs. 
• High School Diploma or GED. Associates degree preferred but not required.
• Construction or project coordination experience is preferred but not required.
• Entry-level candidates with administrative, customer service, scheduling, or office support experience are encouraged to apply.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
