Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth psychosocial assessments to identify individual client needs, mental health diagnoses, and develop tailored treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based treatment modalities to provide short-term counseling for a diverse spectrum of mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, trauma, grief/loss, addiction, and behavioral health issues.

• Deliver short-term case management services to support clients undergoing treatment, ensuring they have the resources necessary for recovery.

• Participate actively in crisis intervention scenarios, employing assessment and de-escalation tactics to manage urgent situations effectively. This may involve notifying the public mental health crisis response team when necessary.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to conduct follow-up assessments and prevention planning, ensuring ongoing support and coordination with external agencies.

You will work primarily with individuals who are grappling with significant life stressors, trauma, and systemic barriers to care. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in a behavioral science field, with at least 2 years of experience post-licensure in mental health counseling.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California.

• Proven experience in delivering clinical mental health services with individuals, families, and groups.

• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, as some services may require home visits.
