This role is designed for a remote work setting, allowing flexibility while connecting with clients via telehealth platforms. As a mental health therapist at Life Carriage, you will have the chance to work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team comprising psychiatrists, psychologists, and fellow counselors, all committed to holistic patient care. While you will primarily work from home, there may be occasional in-person meetings or team gatherings.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate and understand each patient's unique needs, crafting personalized treatment plans based on their specific circumstances.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), to deliver effective therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, and families.

• Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups, fostering a sense of community and addressing shared mental health concerns.

• Collaborate extensively with healthcare professionals—including psychiatrists and psychologists—to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention and acute support during mental health emergencies, ensuring patients receive immediate assistance as necessary.

• Educate clients about their mental health conditions, treatment pathways, and available community resources, empowering them to make informed decisions.

Qualifications\n

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Possession of current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Georgia.

• Demonstrated knowledge of mental health disorders and an understanding of evidence-based treatment practices and interventions.

• Proficient in performing comprehensive mental health assessments and developing effective, individualized treatment plans.

• Experience providing therapeutic services in both individual and group settings to a wide range of clients.

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills that facilitate effective collaboration with team members.

• Adherence to ethical practices, professional boundaries, and sound judgment in all interactions with clients.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant computer applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range between USD 80,000 and 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
