Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Mother/Baby units is needed in Dallas, Texas. This is a night shift position scheduled from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The role involves providing care to postpartum and new mother-baby patients within a busy hospital setting. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Location: Dallas, Texas
• Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; certifications in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Basic Life Support (BLS); experience in Mother/Baby units; NICU or postpartum experience; proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior NICU or postpartum experience; positive attitude, flexible, team player personality; ability to perform procedures such as labor and delivery care, lactation support, phototherapy, blood sugar checks, IV antibiotics
• Additional Information: Unit has a capacity of approximately 70 beds with staffing of around 120 personnel. Typical patient ratios are 1:3 couplets. The unit requires adherence to dress code guidelines and occasionally floating as a resource nurse. Typical shifts include 3-4 weekend shifts with no on-call requirement.
