HR Generalist - Manufacturing

Direct Hire
Mechanic Falls, ME
Salary: $65,000-$75,000 per year
Schedule: Monday-Friday Days
Adecco is recruiting on behalf of our client in Mechanic Falls, ME for an experienced Human Resources Generalist . We're looking for a motivated HR professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is passionate about employee engagement, compliance, and building strong workplace relationships.

What You'll Do

• Support recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding activities

• Administer new hire orientation and employee training programs

• Maintain employee records and ensure HR documentation is accurate and confidential

• Assist with benefits administration and employee leave programs

• Partner with managers on employee relations, coaching, and performance management

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company employment policies

• Support payroll and timekeeping processes as needed

• Coordinate employee recognition, engagement, and retention initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred

• 3+ years of Human Resources experience required

• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment strongly preferred

• Knowledge of federal and Maine employment laws

• Experience with recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, and benefits administration

• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS systems

• SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or similar HR certification is a plus
