Snapshot / Role Overview
We're looking for a remote Plumbing Estimator to deliver precise cost estimates for commercial plumbing projects across multiple markets, working with a team based in Hawaii.
Impact
Provide accurate estimates for diverse commercial plumbing work.
Enable growth into new markets through remote estimating.
Protect profitability with detailed analysis and competitive pricing.
Responsibilities
Perform full takeoffs on digital and cloud-based platforms.
Review documents and specifications for complete scope.
Prepare bid proposals with itemized costs and schedules.
Collaborate with field teams and project managers through digital tools.
Run virtual pre-bid meetings and coordinate with remote stakeholders.
Maintain standardized estimating procedures and cost databases.
Offer value engineering to improve outcomes.
Must-Haves
Four or more years of commercial plumbing estimating.
Expert skills in Bluebeam, cloud estimating platforms, and digital collaboration.
Self-direction and strong time management for remote work.
Thorough understanding of plumbing codes.
Nice-to-Haves
Experience estimating across several states.
Medical gas or institutional project background.
Compensation and Logistics
Competitive salary depending on experience, plus benefits. Remote, with occasional coordination on Hawaii time.
