Key Qualifications:

• Current Pennsylvania Special Education Teaching License required
• Certified in special education
• Experience working with high school students, ideally in autism support

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
• Ability to develop, implement, and track IEPs according to student needs

Main Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging instruction and adapt curriculum for high school students in the autism support classroom
• Implement evidence-based strategies to enhance social, behavioral, and academic growth
• Prepare and maintain all necessary documentation, including IEPs, progress reports, and communication logs
• Collaborate with other special education teachers, support staff, and administration to ensure student success
• Foster a safe, structured, and supportive environment for students on the autism spectrum
