Come work with a woman and therapist run company doing what you love! Ampersand Therapy is hiring an Adaptive Physical Education Teacher for the 2026‑2027 school year in the Maywood, IL area. Why Join Us Competitive pay ($45‑50/hour) W‑2 employment with liability insurance included Healthcare benefits* + 401(k) with company match Reimbursement for licensure, CEUs, and professional expenses (up to $500) Mileage reimbursement between sites + referral bonuses (up to $3,000) Mentorship and ongoing support from school‑based professionals What You'll Do Provide Adapted Physical Education services in the school setting Create inclusive and interactive lessons and activities for students Implement IEP goals and therapy plans Partner with teachers and families to support carryover of skills Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed What We're Looking For Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physical Education or related field Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Adaptive Physical Education Endorsement Experience in school‑based or pediatric settings preferred About Ampersand Therapy Ampersand Therapy is a women and therapist‑operated company built by providers who understand school‑based work.
