Lead Infant Teacher

What You’ll Do: Lead a classroom of infants (0-18 months) — overseeing feeding, diapering, nap routines, developmental exploration and meaningful teacher-child interactions. Design and implement age‑appropriate, play-based lesson plans and learning environments that support cognitive, physical, social, and emotional development of infants. Build warm, trusting relationships with infants and their families; provide daily communication and meaningful updates on each child’s progress. Monitor and document individual milestones and observations; collaborate with co‑teachers and the program director to ensure best practices. Maintain safety, cleanliness, and licensing compliance (state regulations for infant care). Mentor and support assistant teachers/aides in your room, help build a collaborative and professional classroom culture. What We’re Looking For: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or related field, or a CDA credential plus relevant infant/early childhood training. Minimum of [2+] years’ experience in infant classroom or childcare setting. Strong knowledge of infant development and best practices for care in the 0–18 month age range. Excellent communication skills, both with children and with families. A warm, nurturing temperament; thrives in a busy, loving, sometimes messy infant classroom. CPR/First‑Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) and ability to meet state licensing requirements. A team‑player mindset and a commitment to professional growth.
