We are looking for a Staff Accountant to join our team! You will be responsible for managing all financial aspects of the company accounts.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial statements and reports for management.
- Accurately record all cash receipts, disbursements, and transfers in the accounting system.
- Code and enter vendor and expense invoices, process checks, wires, and ACH payments.
- Prepare journal entries and post them to the general ledger.
- Perform bank reconciliations and daily cash updates.
- Prepare credit card reconciliations.
- Assist in the cash flow forecasting process by keeping up to date with future cash demands.
- Weekly cash updates for all bank accounts or as requested.
- Assist in budget preparation and loan draws.
- Prepare and file 1099’s, including collecting W-9s.
- Analyze financial data and prepare reports for management.
- Perform bank reconciliations and other accounting functions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Related Field
- 2 + years of experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
