School-Based Speech Language Pathologist Assistant - Parker, CO

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct therapy services to students as outlined in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Work closely with licensed Speech-Language Pathologists to implement intervention plans and monitor student progress
• Document sessions and track measurable gains in communication skills
• Support classroom teachers by offering strategies and tools for speech and language development
• Engage with parents and caregivers to provide updates, resources, and recommendations
• Participate in team meetings, IEP reviews, and professional development activities
• Adjust and adapt materials and session approaches for a diverse caseload

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or equivalent
• Valid SLPA license or eligibility for licensure in the state
• Experience working within school settings or with pediatric populations preferred
• Strong collaboration skills and a team-first mindset
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Comfort working with both elementary and middle school-aged children
• Familiarity with IEP documentation a plus
