Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity working directly with students across multiple schools, supporting a diverse K-12 caseload. This on-site, full-time role offers the chance to provide crucial physical therapy services as maternity leave coverage from September 8, 2026, through December 18, 2026. The position is itinerant, so you’ll gain valuable experience working in different educational environments and collaborating with various teams—making each day dynamic and fulfilling.

Desired Qualifications:

• Current Physical Therapist license or certification valid in Oregon
• Recent experience working in a school-based setting (preferred, not required)
• Comfortable traveling between multiple sites within the district
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Ability to build rapport with students, staff, and families
• Must provide contact information for your three most recent supervisor references to be considered

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative PT services for students in grades K-12
• Assess and develop individualized treatment plans to help students access their educational environment
• Document evaluations, treatments, and progress in accordance with school and district procedures
• Collaborate with educational staff and related service providers to develop and implement strategies supporting student progress
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional recommendations within a multi-disciplinary team
• Travel between sites as part of the itinerant coverage schedule
