Scout's Pub Westhaven in Franklin, TN is hiring a qualified Hourly Kitchen Supervisor to join our family. Position Information Position: Hourly Kitchen Supervisor Location: 158 Front St #120, Franklin, TN Start Date: As Soon as Available Status: Full‑time / Non‑Exempt and at‑will Hours: Vary – Days, Evenings, Weekends Job Summary The Kitchen Supervisor is responsible for all kitchen functions including food purchasing, preparation and maintenance of quality standards, sanitation and cleanliness, training of employees in methods of cooking, preparation, plate presentation, portion, cost control, and sanitation and cleanliness. At least 1-year experience as a Chef or equivalent position. 21 years of age or older. Reliable transportation to and from work. Must pass the federally mandated E‑Verify process. Excellent communication skills with managers, kitchen and dining room personnel and guests. Physical ability to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds. Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 9 hours). Self‑disciplined, take initiative, and demonstrate excellent communication and leadership skills with a focus on treating the entire team with dignity and respect. Pleasant, polite manner and neat and clean appearance. Essential Competencies Clear communication with managers, kitchen and dining room personnel and guests. Excellent communication skills for dealing with diverse staff. Ability to handle pressures of coordinating a wide range of activities and recommend appropriate solutions to restaurant problems.
