Gyn Oncology Specialists, A Division of BASS Medical Group, is a community-based medical practice that cares for high acuity, complex gynecologic and oncology patients. Our providers offer treatment planning, surgery, chemotherapy, and palliative care.
Our Los Angeles location is seeking a full-time Front & Back Office Medical Assistant. This position is ideal for an individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, where multi-tasking skills are key. This position will consist of front and back-office duties including:
- Scheduling appointments
- Responding to patient calls
- Insurance knowledge
- Data entry into Electronic Health Record (AthenaOne)
- Performing patient intake
- Assisting in office procedures
Mandatory qualifications:
- Excellent customer service/interpersonal skills
- Medical terminology
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Comfort with interacting with sick patients
- Strong computer skills
- Works well independently and as a member of a team
- Bilingual English/Spanish
Requirements:
- 1+ years Front and Back Office experience
- MA Certificate desired

Pay Scale/Ranges: $23/hour (and the hourly equivalent for salaried employees). *
