On Transformation and Scale, we apply a programmatic mindset to most everything we do, partnering with stakeholders across Legal and the business to develop and execute team strategy that scales our support, one to many. More specifically, you will cover Atlassian’s Partners & Alliances organization and will have opportunities to collaborate on other key team initiatives. You will be an individual contributor reporting to the Senior Director, Transformation and Scale, who in turn reports to Atlassian’s Deputy General Counsel, Head of Commercial.On Transformation and Scale, we believe in putting the customer and our clients first, making smart, risk-based decisions, and collaborating as a team. Successful teammates bring a desire to understand Atlassian products and a passion for innovation.ResponsibilitiesWhat you'll doDraft, negotiate and advise on partner agreements and transactionsSupport our Partners & Alliances organization in developing programs, policies and offerings, advising on complex legal and business issuesDevelop and implement strategy for effectively scaling your support of the Partners & Alliances organizationEngage with teammates on other key Transformation and Scale and Commercial Legal initiatives, like contract drafting and playbooks, including through use of AITake a collaboration-first mindset, understanding that the best work product comes from considering multiple viewpoints and improving togetherLearn and use with Atlassian products, both to understand Atlassian’s business and collaborate with peers and stakeholdersQualificationsYour background7+ years practicing lawJuris Doctor and license to practice law in a US jurisdictionIn-house experience at a technology company, B2B SaaS preferredA knack for distilling complex concepts into clear language and pragmatic solutions, both in contracts and in communicationDemonstrated success supporting a global partner organizationDemonstrated success in a dynamic, fast-paced and matrixed organizationDemonstrated growth mindsetCompensationAt Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience.In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones.
