Responsibilities Follow a written plan of care by a registered nurse to provide personal care services, household support, and companion care to help adults stay safe and independent at home. Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care, etc. Provide household support: light housekeeping, laundry, bed making. Meal preparation and feeding. Assist with range of motion and exercises. Assist with ambulation (transfers/ use of mechanical lifting devices). Medication reminders. Qualifications Previous home health care or patient care experience welcomed but not required; training provided. A passion for caregiving and a desire to help others. A commitment to being present and providing quality care. Empathy, patience, kindness, and respect. Ability to travel to clients’ homes as assigned.
