This position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, where you can conduct therapy sessions via telehealth. Your schedule will primarily consist of weekday hours, specifically from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate patient needs, ensuring you maintain a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth mental health assessments to accurately identify patient needs and formulate tailored treatment plans that reflect clinical best practices.

• Provide individual, couples, and family therapy using evidence-based approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused methods.

• Facilitate engaging psychoeducational support groups aimed at addressing prevalent mental health challenges while fostering a sense of community and belonging among participants.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to ensure an integrated approach to patient care.

• Deliver crisis intervention services and immediate support during mental health emergencies, ensuring clients receive prompt and effective assistance.

• Educate clients on mental health disorders, treatment options, and local resources to empower them in their recovery journey.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of client interactions, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Therapist with Gotham Enterprises, you will engage with a diverse patient population facing various mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, bipolar disorder, and substance use issues. You will work with individuals, couples, and families, tailoring your therapeutic approach to meet the specific needs of each client. Through your compassionate care and expertise, you will help clients navigate their mental health journey towards wellness.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Virginia.

• In-depth understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Proficient in conducting thorough mental health assessments and creating effective treatment plans.

• Experience providing individual and group therapy to a variety of client demographics.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.

• Demonstrated sound judgment, professional ethics, and commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer proficiency.

Compensation and Benefits\n
