Senior Accountant

Overview SkillSetGroup is seeking a Senior Accountant to work in the Glendale, CA area. This position will be supporting accounting functions in a manufacturing environment, including month-end close, financial reporting, journal entries, reconciliations, inventory, COGS, and cost accounting. This will be an on-site, Monday-Friday direct hire opportunity. Responsibilities Provide accounting support in a manufacturing environment with focus on month-end close, financial reporting, journal entries, reconciliations, inventory, COGS, and cost accounting. Qualifications 5+ years of progressive accounting experience Strong GAAP knowledge Advanced Excel skills Experience with inventory or manufacturing accounting AccountMate experience is preferred Bachelor\'s Degree Skills Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Cost Accounting Accounts Payable (AP) Accounts Receivable (AR) Technology Accounting Software #J-18808-Ljbffr
