Substitute - Program Technician II -Secretarial/Clerical

On Call as needed. These positions work Monday-Friday. Compensation: Range 36; Schedule M; Step 1; $25.20 Hourly. This is an open recruitment to establish a list of substitutes for the classification of Program Technician II (Substitute). No effort will be made to maintain a rank order of the applicants (P.C. Rule 60.100.5). The examination process will consist of a written examination. Applicants will be notified via email regarding their status. Those selected to participate in the testing process will receive additional details, including the date and location of the exam, once the schedule is finalized.

Under general supervision of an assigned administrator, performs a variety of broad technical record-keeping and clerical duties in support of an assigned program or function at a school site. Establishes and maintains records; compiles and distributes materials and reports, and responds to inquiries from a variety of internal and external sources. Provides support to assigned administrators in maintaining efficient operations and organizing program activities or functions.

Minimum Qualifications: Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Coursework or training beyond high school is highly desirable. Experience: Two (2) years of secretarial experience involving public contact, organizing and coordinating specialized clerical functions, record-keeping, and use of automated office equipment.
