Overview The PGIM Private Capital (Prudential) Power and Renewables team manages an approximately $10 billion portfolio of private investments in debt and structured equity in power generation and infrastructure. Candidates will participate in managing and originating investment transactions in assets such as wind, solar, hydroelectric, and natural gas-fired power plants, as well as transmission assets, power project developers, utilities, and cooperatives. The group focuses on North America, Latin America, UK/Europe, and Australia, offering a global perspective on power investing. Job Classification Investment Management - Investments Responsibilities Sourcing, underwriting, and managing investments in power assets. Participating in structuring, negotiation, and documentation of transactions involving senior debt, subordinated debt, and structured equity. Engaging in financial analysis across the capital structure, with opportunities to develop new skills and leverage existing experience. Qualifications 2-4 years of experience in investment banking, project finance, or similar fields. Strong analytical, writing, interpersonal, and communication skills. Willingness to travel as needed. Preferred Skills Experience in the power, energy, or infrastructure sectors. Knowledge of project and structured finance transactions. Participation in the CFA program.
