Housing Case Manager-Community Supports/CalAIM

Supervises juveniles held in secure detention and assists in providing services for their care. Work involves maintaining a secure and safe environment; enforcing the policies and procedures established for the Northwest Regional Juvenile Detention Center; preparing and maintaining reports and documentation on facility activities in accordance with laws and regulations governing secure detention of juveniles. Wage shown includes $2.05 per hour in lieu of benefits Admits and discharges referred juveniles, records all appropriate information for each individual, and maintains required documentation Enforces regulations and disciplinary policies related to the security and operation of the facility Complies with all procedures and schedules for meals, laundry, cleaning, maintenance, and inspections Identifies and takes appropriate action with all juveniles that appear mentally disturbed or physically ill Provides and supervises juveniles' access to educational and recreational activities Provides transportation to juveniles for all scheduled court appearances and court-ordered appointments Receipts, verifies, and dispenses resident medications as instructed Observes and documents individual and group behaviors on a daily basis Distributes meals, clothing, and linen Performs related duties as required or directed High school diploma or equivalent Ability to meet one of the following criteria: Documentary evidence of two (2) years of post-secondary education in an accredited institution with emphasis in a human services or criminal justice related field Two years (2) of full-time law enforcement experience or civilian correctional officer experience A combination of experience and/or training equivalent to two (2) years in juvenile justice related issues No felony convictions in any jurisdiction unless the judgment or conviction has been reversed or a complete pardon has been granted #J-18808-Ljbffr Helpline-Youth-Counseling
