Job Description
Exciting Opportunity for Night Shift Neuro Stepdown RN!

Job Description:
- Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)
- Location: Cleveland Clinic Main Campus Hospital Stepdown Neuro
- Join a vibrant team focused on progressive care!


Requirements:
- Must have 12 months of permanent experience in the specialty applying for
- Progressive care experience preferred but not required
- Must possess a permanent Ohio license or compact state license in hand
- Current certifications required:
- American Red Cross BLS
- ACLS
- NIHSS
- Must work at least every other holiday


Additional Information:
- ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate will be completed during orientation; acceptable score required
- Must receive a passing score on both assessments (two attempts maximum)


Pre-Submission Criteria:
- Complete the Standard Qualivis Cover Sheet
- Discuss and include all RTO during the interview
- Each traveler may only be submitted for one job at a time
- One reference from a managerial position within the past 12 months required
- Required certifications must be active at the time of submission


Compliance Details:
- Background checks will be reviewed; no open cases accepted
- Nurses and CSTs are exempt from Nicotine Free Facility Requirements
- Other travelers must be nicotine-free; a negative 10 panel + nicotine drug screen required within 12 months


Contract Details:
- Candidates may extend for 18 months, followed by a required 6-month break
- BCI/FBI prints must be completed within 48 hours of signing the contract

Annual Competency Requirements:
- Travel candidates on continuous contracts for 1 year must complete the annual hands-on competency


Modules:
- Average 6-15 hours of modules required, with up to 4 hours billable
- Modules to be completed pre-start and annually
