and the job listing Expires on July 18, 2026 Internship Exploring General Business & Beyond As an intern, you will work alongside Vigilant’s industry experts who have over 500 years of collective financial services experience. You will assist in the implementation of compliance programs tailored to RIAs, broker-dealers, and registered funds. Responsibilities include helping with forensic testing of compliance controls, ensuring that policies are effective and properly followed and gaining exposure to SEC requirements, including annual reviews mandated by Rule 206(4)-7. Interns will help review marketing and advertising materials under the guidance of Series 24 licensed professionals. Other tasks include monitoring trading practices, fee billing, and custody arrangements to ensure regulatory compliance. Interns will contribute to risk assessments by gathering data and assisting in the evaluation of broker-dealer execution quality. You will help prepare compliance documentation and reports that are critical during SEC examinations. Interns will also assist in analyzing SEC releases, risk alerts, and enforcement actions, learning how regulatory updates impact clients.
