Job Description As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Response in Raleigh, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.60 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon10:00 PM - 06:00 AMTue10:00 PM - 06:00 AMWed10:00 PM - 06:00 AMThur10:00 PM - 06:00 AMFri10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to members, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location. Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, ATM locations, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and report suspicious persons, activities, and/or conditions according to site procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including contacting law enforcement and/or emergency services when directed. Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while following applicable armed-post procedures and Allied Universal policies. Minimum Requirements: Possess at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience. Possess an Armed Guard Card or License. Pepper Spray Certification is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
