As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a cultural institution, you will welcome visitors, provide exceptional customer service, manage access, monitor entry activity, and communicate professionally with staff and guests. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.70 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM Tue 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM Wed 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM Thur 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM Fri 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, staff, clergy, and/or vendors at a front desk within a cultural institution while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies. Greet visitors professionally, verify access as directed, issue visitor credentials when applicable, and maintain accurate visitor and delivery records. Monitor entry areas, cameras, alarms, and/or access-control systems, reporting unusual activity or maintenance concerns according to site procedures. Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and emergency responders when needed. Maintain a professional front-desk presence, answer incoming calls, provide directions or general information, and support a welcoming environment for guests. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
