Mergers & Acquisitions Attorney for AI Training [Remote]

Provide high-level M&A legal analysis and strategic input to help train next-generation AI systems. You will apply your M&A, corporate law, and private equity expertise to analyze real-world transactions, contracts, and disputes, and to produce clear, high-quality legal content and feedback. This is a fully remote, contractor engagement supporting a customer project focused on improving AI reasoning and performance. No prior AI experience is required.

• Contribute subject-matter expertise to evaluate and generate M&A legal content for AI system training.
• Review and analyze real-world M&A scenarios, agreements, and litigation to identify legal principles, issues, and risk factors.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research across corporate law, M&A, and private equity matters.
• Draft, edit, and clarify complex legal concepts in accessible written and verbal formats.
• Collaborate remotely with multidisciplinary teams to provide nuanced legal perspectives and feedback.
• Participate in quality assurance processes to verify accuracy and reliability of AI-generated outputs.
• Support iterative improvement of deliverables by applying industry best practices and practical experience.

• Preferred: US-qualified attorney with recent experience at a top-tier US law firm focused on M&A and corporate transactions.
• Demonstrated expertise in M&A deal structuring, due diligence, and risk assessment.
• Strong foundation in corporate law, private equity, and related litigation matters.
• Required skills include Mergers & Acquisitions, corporate law, litigation knowledge, legal research, remote collaboration, multidisciplinary teamwork, and quality assurance.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a fully remote, multidisciplinary environment.
• Experience with legal content review, QA, or training rubrics is a plus, but not required.
• No prior AI experience required; interest in applying legal expertise to emerging technology is preferred.

• Engagement type: Contractor, project-based participation on a customer project.
• Location: Fully remote, with all interactions and deliverables conducted remotely.
• Collaboration will be with multidisciplinary teams and will require reliable remote communication and adherence to quality processes.

• Hourly rate: $140.00 to $400.00 per hour.

• Candidates with US bar qualification and recent top-tier law firm M&A experience are strongly preferred.
• Open to attorneys with deep M&A, corporate, and private equity backgrounds who can participate as independent contractors in a remote engagement.
