About the role monday.com is looking for an NYC-based Staff Accountant to join our expanding global Finance department! As a Staff Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in the accounting and month‑end process. In this role you will report to our US Controller. We are looking for someone who thrives under pressure in a fast‑paced environment and has high attention to detail. Please note that this is a hybrid position of 3 days/week in our NYC office. Responsibilities Support timely monthly, quarterly, half‑year, and year‑end financial close. Credit card and bank reconciliations across multiple accounts and currencies. Work with Procurement, FP&A & team leads on the end‑to‑end PR to PO process. Manage accounts payable process including vendor onboarding, bill entry, vendor payments, preparing payment reports, ensuring proper POs for all bills and liaising with vendors as necessary. Monitor corporate credit cards and create new virtual cards for special events or new employees. Assist with external auditors and tax consultants. Assist with employee expense reimbursements review and upload. Ad‑hoc reporting as required. Requirements Must have a minimum of 3 years related work experience; Public Company/SaaS experience is a plus. Conversational knowledge of Portuguese or Spanish a plus. Prior experience with NetSuite. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business accounting, or finance. Highly detail oriented, ability to meet deadlines. Strong organization and analytical skills. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment. Working knowledge of MS Office with strong Excel skills. Estimated annual base salary range: $80,000–$100,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including education, training, experience, business needs, and work location. In addition to base salary, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus or a role‑based sales incentive plan. Certain roles may also include equity in the form of RSUs.
