We support the Nexus switches of next-generation data centers and cloud switches, which feature high performance, low latency, and outstanding power efficiency in a wide range of compact form factors. There are opportunities to initiate a project starting from the New Product Introduction (NPI) phase to the End of Life (EOL) phase.Your ImpactThe organization is seeking a Test Development Engineer. This is your opportunity to innovate and continue to grow your skills! The roles responsibilities include:End-to-end test development of data center switching products; Develop test automation script using Python.Support EMS partners and product-related testing issues; Collaborate with product team to implement and implement test strategies, test plans, and test processes.Generate product-specific test plans and drive test coverage based on product requirements; Design, build, and deploy test platforms for Cisco's global manufacturing partner.Analyze, approach, and root cause manufacturing yield issues and field escapes; Drive issues to closure with preventive measures; Drive test-related improvement and optimization.Specify, develop, and/or procure test equipment, test fixtures, and test solutions; Define debug processes for test engineers in manufacturing sites.Minimum Qualifications:Minimum of 4 years of test engineering experience with a solid understanding of standard Design for Test (DFT) techniques and a basic understanding of Cisco or industry-standard testing methodologies. Additionally, experience in the electronics manufacturing industry or in automated hardware or software testing is required.Proficient in Software Programming, specifically Python and BashStrong adherence to coding standards.Familiarity with version control and continuous integration software tools such as Github and Jenkins.Experience in manufacturing and hardware testing, with the ability to debug, analyze, and identify root causes of manufacturing yield and test issuesPreferred Qualifications:Experience in data networking and strong knowledge of statistical analysisProactive and adaptable, with a strong commitment to continuous learning and growthProficient in automation platformsUnderstanding of hardware architectures, design concepts, and engineering development practicesSkilled in driving resolution of hardware design and diagnostic issues#LI-KR3Why Cisco?At Cisco, we’re revolutionizing how data and infrastructure connect and protect organizations in the AI era – and beyond.
