Senior Finance Manager

Senior Finance Manager role supporting the BioProduction Group's commercial operations at Thermo Fisher Scientific. Provides financial analytics, forecasting, and strategic insights to key account teams and senior leadership across global regions. Reports to Director of Commercial Finance in Pittsburgh, PA or Waltham, MA.
Responsibilities
- Provide commercial financial support for key accounts representing ~60% of revenue, including rebates and contract analysis
- Lead monthly and quarterly business reviews with regional directors and key account leaders
- Analyze critical metrics: bookings, backlog, revenue trends, pipeline conversion, and customer analytics
- Support forecasting and annual operating plan processes with commercial and sales leadership
- Develop financial insights and analytics for key account strategies and customer profitability analysis
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics
- 6+ years FP&A or commercial finance experience in large multinational companies
- Led multiple cross-functional finance projects successfully
- Advanced Excel and data analytics capabilities
- Experience with financial planning tools: Hyperion Planning, SmartView, Tableau, Power BI, Oracle, SAP Analytics Cloud
- Strong forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis expertise
- MBA, CMA, or CPA preferred
