Main Line Allergy is a well-established, physician-led Allergy & Asthma practice dedicated to providing exceptional, personalized care to patients of all ages for the last 50 years. Our team specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of allergic and immunologic conditions, asthma, and related respiratory disorders.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing clinical team. This is an excellent opportunity for a PA who has expertise in Allergy & Asthma or would like to develop their knowledge while working collaboratively with experienced physicians and clinical staff in a supportive, patient-focused environment.

Position Overview

The Physician Assistant will provide comprehensive evaluation and management of patients with allergic and respiratory conditions. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical and communication skills, a commitment to evidence-based medicine, and an interest in building long-term relationships with patients and families.

Responsibilities may include:

• Evaluating new and established patients with allergies, asthma, and immunologic conditions
• Obtaining detailed medical histories and performing comprehensive physical examinations
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians
• Diagnosing and managing conditions such as allergic rhinitis, asthma, eczema, food allergies, drug allergies, chronic urticaria, and other allergic/immunologic disorders
• Ordering and interpreting appropriate laboratory and diagnostic testing
• Performing and/or assisting with allergy-related procedures and testing, as appropriate
• Educating patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, medications, trigger avoidance, and disease management
• Managing medications and monitoring treatment response
• Documenting patient encounters accurately and efficiently in the electronic medical record
• Communicating effectively with physicians, nurses, medical assistants, and administrative staff
• Participating in a collaborative team environment focused on high-quality patient care and providing excellent patient experiences

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Current NCCPA certification
• Full-time or Part-time option
• Current Pennsylvania PA license or eligibility for licensure
• Current DEA registration or eligibility to obtain
• Excellent clinical, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with physicians and the clinical team

Prior experience in Allergy & Immunology, Pulmonology, Primary Care, Pediatrics, or another related specialty is preferred but not required. We are willing to provide training and mentorship to the right candidate with a strong interest in Allergy & Asthma care.
