Perform procedures including suturing, splinting, and incision & drainage. Interpret initial digital X-rays with accuracy. Work collaboratively with medical assistants, scribes, and fellow providers. Requirements Required Qualifications Licensure: You must hold a current, unrestricted license as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in the state where this job will be performed. If you do not currently hold a license, you must be in the process of obtaining one. Education: A Master’s degree is required, either from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nursing program. Certification: If you are a Nurse Practitioner, you must be certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). If you are a physician assistant, you must be certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). CPR Certification: You must have current CPR certification, or be willing to obtain it prior to your start date.
