Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Technical Writer to create, edit, and maintain technical documentation for products developed by the client. The role will work closely with Service Engineering, Engineering, Manufacturing, Compliance, Product Management, and Subject Matter Experts to gather technical information and ensure documentation is accurate, clear, and user-friendly.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, edit, and maintain technical documentation, including:

o User manuals

o Technical specifications

o Service procedures

o Repair times

o Interactive schematics

o Help guides

• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, service, compliance, product management, and SMEs to collect and validate technical information.

• Organize, manage, and maintain technical documentation repositories.

• Ensure documentation follows established writing, formatting, and style guidelines.

• Translate complex technical information into clear and concise content for both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Create or coordinate technical illustrations and visual content to support documentation.

• Perform copy editing, proofreading, fact-checking, and content reviews to ensure accuracy and consistency.

• Maintain documentation throughout the product lifecycle and incorporate engineering or product changes as required.

• Ensure all documentation meets applicable quality and compliance requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Experience in technical writing, technical documentation, or product documentation.

• Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and communication skills.

• Ability to understand and document complex technical information.

• Experience collaborating with engineering and technical subject matter experts.

• Experience creating technical illustrations or working with technical graphics is preferred.

• Hands-on experience with Arbortext software is required.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple documentation projects.
