Senior Attorney

Our recruiting team is partnering with an established creditors’ rights law firm to hire a Senior Foreclosure & Bankruptcy Attorney based in Iowa . This is a senior-level role offering significant autonomy, where the attorney will manage a high-volume caseload while receiving strategic oversight from a Wisconsin-based Managing Attorney. Responsibilities Handle foreclosure, eviction, and bankruptcy matters on behalf of lender and creditor clients Independently manage a busy caseload from intake through resolution Draft and review pleadings such as motions for relief from stay, proofs of claim, and objections to confirmation or discharge Appear in court for hearings, mediations, and trials Analyze loan documents and collateral positions to guide case strategy Provide clear, strategic legal advice to clients Maintain compliance with evolving laws, regulations, and court procedures Requirements Active Iowa bar license in good standing Minimum 8 years of overall legal experience At least 2 years of mortgage default, foreclosure, or creditors’ rights experience Strong litigation, drafting, and case management skills Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Excellent communication and client management abilities Ideal Candidate Brings substantial mortgage default experience beyond the minimum requirement Thrives in an autonomous role while maintaining accountability Is detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills Demonstrates confidence in court and client interactions Is motivated to contribute to a growing practice with consistent workflow #J-18808-Ljbffr
