The role processes routine invoices, reviews UBR support, resolves discrepancies and supports month-end close. Priorities shift based on business needs, as coordinated by Billing and AR Operations leadership.Duties and responsibilities, as they align to Ryan’s Key ResultsResponsibilities:Prepare, review, and process client invoices and routine billing requestsSupport new engagement setup and ongoing maintenance; review engagement documentation, client terms, and billing requirements for completeness and accuracyResearch and resolve routine engagement setup discrepancies, coordinate missing information with engagement teams, and escalate exceptions before billingProcess invoice corrections, cancellations, and replacements under approved proceduresResearch routine billing discrepancies; monitor assigned Billing queues and inquiriesReview UBR requests for adequate support, approvals, and calculation accuracyReconcile UBR amounts to supporting schedules and escalate exceptionsAssist with Billing and UBR month-end close, reconciliations, and status reportingSupport audit requests, training, job aids, and defined quality checks• Maintain confidentiality of client and corporate informationCross-train across Billing and UBR; identify process improvements and support other projectsEssential Skills Required:Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills and attention to detailClear written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative service approachPresents numerical data effectivelyDemonstrates accuracy and thoroughness.Ability to work successfully under tight deadlines and shifting team prioritiesExcellent people skills to collaborate with individuals across the organization and ability to discuss feedback in both technical and user-friendly languageBasic account reconciliation skillsStrong time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritizeAble to prioritize shifting daily workload while maintaining accuracy and follow-throughAbility to pivot quicklyAdaptability and willingness to learn both Billing and UBR proceduresUnderstand and use the internal technologies required for daily functionsAbility to identify inefficiencies and recommend practical solutionsAbility to collaborate with domestic and offshore teams, share process knowledge, and support training and consistent execution of proceduresComfortable learning new technologies, including company-approved AI tools, to improve productivity and operational efficiency while protecting confidential informationWillingness to work overtime as required during peak closing periods and audit timeEducation and Experience:Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; and two to five years related experience. Billing or Accounts Receivable experience preferred.Computer Skills:Intermediate Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Adobe skills. Workday Financials experience is a plus; familiarity with RIBS or Salesforce is beneficial.Supervisory Responsibilities:This individual contributor role has no direct reports.
