DescriptionAs the Laserfiche Senior Accountant, you’ll be at the center of our financial reporting excellence, owning complex accounting activities and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our numbers across the company.In this key role, you will spearhead month‑end close, global consolidations, and compliance with both US GAAP and IFRS, partnering closely with leaders across the business. Reporting directly to the Controller, you’ll also play a vital mentorship role—guiding junior team members, elevating team capabilities, and driving process improvements that support our growth.If you thrive in a dynamic environment, love solving complex accounting challenges, and want to make a meaningful impact as we grow, this role is your opportunity to step in and lead with confidence.Location:Hybrid: Three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) in-office in Long Beach, CARemote work from home on Mondays and FridaysAbout the Role - Key Responsibilities: Lead month-end and quarter-end close processes, including preparation of complex journal entries, account reconciliations, and intercompany eliminationsPerform in-depth reconciliations and analysis of balance sheet and P&L accounts, identifying and resolving variancesOwn core accounting functions, including general ledger maintenance, accruals, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and intercompany transactionsManage revenue accounting efforts, including ASC 606 compliance for SaaS contracts, deferred revenue, and performance obligationsOversee consolidations for international entities, applying IFRS where applicable and ensuring accurate currency translationsDevelop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and system enhancements for efficiencyCoordinate with external auditors, providing comprehensive support and schedules for audits and reviewsAnalyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations to management on operational efficienciesMentor and review work of junior accountants, ensuring accuracy and adherence to standardsOther duties as assignedAbout You - Essential Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including in a SaaS/multinational company, with hands-on consolidation and IFRS exposureAdvanced knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS, with expertise in consolidations, foreign currency, and SaaS specific accountingSuperior communication skills for presenting financial information to stakeholders in a hybrid/global environmentExceptional analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills, with a proven ability to manage prioritiesExpertise in accounting and SaaS CPQ, CRM software (e.g., QuickBooks Enterprise, NetSuite, Salesforce, Zuora, etc.) and advanced proficiency in ExcelStrong ethical standards and ability to handle confidential informationThe salary range varies, and pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, certifications (if applicable), candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills and years of experience amongst other factors. $85,000 - $115,000 per yearPerks & Benefits at a Glance Generous time off:15 Days of Vacation3 Floating Holidays2 Paid Volunteer Days9 Paid HolidaysHybrid Work EnvironmentFree Parking: covered and EV charging stationsVarious 401 (k) Investment Options and Generous Company MatchHMO and PPO Medical Care Options Applicants must be authorized to work for Laserfiche in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for employer sponsorship.
