About the Role:
Miller Landscape & Outdoor Living is looking for a skilled and motivated Landscape Technician/Crew Leader to join our team in Orion, MI! This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll guide a crew to deliver beautiful, high-quality landscape results for our clients. If you take pride in your craft and love working outdoors, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise a landscape crew on residential and/or commercial job sites
Perform lawn maintenance, mowing, trimming, edging, and clean-ups
Install and maintain plants, mulch, sod, and landscape beds
Operate and maintain landscape equipment including mowers, trimmers, and blowers
Ensure job sites are completed on schedule and to company quality standards
Communicate effectively with crew members and site supervisors
Follow all safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment
Requirements:
Prior experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, or a related field
Previous crew leadership or supervisory experience preferred
Ability to operate commercial landscape equipment safely and efficiently
Strong work ethic with attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (required to operate company vehicles)
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physical labor
Ability to lift 25+ lbs. without restrictions
Dependable, punctual, and a strong team player
