Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians and healthcare providers, ensuring alignment with patient goals and best practices.
• Implement therapeutic interventions, evaluating and modifying treatment strategies to meet the evolving needs of patients.
• Provide detailed instructions to patients, families, and caregivers regarding exercises, therapeutic modalities, and the use of any assistive devices.
• Manage the daily caseload, prioritize patient needs, and coordinate treatment assignments with colleagues to ensure seamless patient care.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to promote recovery and rehabilitation, enhancing functional outcomes in a supportive and motivating manner.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Vitalize Physical Therapy, you will encounter a diverse patient population that includes adults recovering from surgeries or injuries and pediatric patients who require specialized care. You'll have the opportunity to work with individuals experiencing musculoskeletal conditions, neurological disorders, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain management, tailoring your approaches based on their unique needs and treatment goals.

Qualifications

• A valid Physical Therapy license in California.
• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Enthusiasm for patient care and a commitment to providing exceptional service.

Preferred Experience

• Previous clinical experience in an outpatient setting is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, essential for documentation and collaboration.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems to maintain accurate patient records.

Compensation and Benefits
